AmCham’s 2021 Fall Member Dinner at Sølyst

On September 30, AmCham members and stakeholders gathered for AmCham’s Fall Member Dinner at Sølyst, which was sponsored by Copenhagen Capacity and RiskPoint.

This annual event focuses on the importance and positive impact of foreign companies investing in Denmark and culminates in the presentation of the Foreign Company of the Year.

The evening featured an insightful presentation by Editor-in-Chief for Børsen, Bjarne Corydon, who shared his perspectives on globalization in a post-pandemic world. In addition, Copenhagen Mayor for Employment and Immigration, Cecilia Lonning-Skovgaard gave a speech on her work as Copenhagen’s Employment and Immigration Mayor and the challenges we face in attracting international workers to Denmark.

The evening concluded with the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Stuart Dwyer announcing the winner of the 2021 Foreign Company of the Year, which went to Janssen. The award was accepted by Country Director for Janssen Denmark, Julie Enevold Brooker.
