Leadership Mentoring Program Participants Attend Breakfast & Leadership Workshop

AmCham’s Leadership Mentoring Program held a breakfast and leadership workshop at member company IFF (International Flavors and Fragrance) offices in Lyngby.

IFF’s Managing Director Brian Brix shared his views about global leadership- from his 26+ year career at the company, including 14 years working in Moscow. Brian’s engaging presentation set the scene for an inclusive leadership workshop by event partner Aperian Global, a cross cultural consultancy, specializing in inclusive workplace consulting with a global lens and local cultural relevance.

The workshop, entitled “Inclusive leadership in action – how to build trust across borders” was led by Aperian Global Senior Consultants Ekaterina von Gertten and Anja Stentoft. The thought-provoking workshop led participants through an evaluation of two fictional new team members – to determine each person’s ‘trust score’ – an equation including credibility/reliability/connection and self absorption – along with a plan of action to develop the employees further.
