2023 SelectUSA Summit Highlights

May 1-4, a delegation of Danish businesses led by U.S. Ambassador Alan Leventhal and Morten Bødskov, Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, attended the 2023 SelectUSA Summit in Washington D.C.

The week was filled with notable events, including the signing of a U.S.-Denmark Statement of Understanding by Ambassador Leventhal and Minister Bødskov. The statement aims to promote the green transition and expand investment opportunities for businesses from both countries, with a top priority on addressing climate change.

Other high-level meetings included Marisa Lago, Under Secretary of Commerce, Massachusetts Governor Maura HealeyJohn Podesta, Senior Advisor to the President for Clean Energy Innovation and Implementation, and U.S. Under Secretary of Energy David Turk Additionally, the delegation also participated in a roundtable discussion on business partnerships for rebuilding Ukraine at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
